The Jayamukhi Institute of Technological Sciences was established in 2001 by the Jayamukhi Educational Society to offer excellent and modern engineering education with social significance, with the ultimate goal of maintaining a benchmark in higher education and research. The AICTE has given the institute its accreditation, and Andhra Pradesh's government has recognised it.
